The item is great, except that our trigger switch came to us defective. This switch is important to bounce to any games on the trampoline. The customer service line for Kid-Riffic is terrible! They only allow you to leave a message, not speak with anyone, only to find that the mailbox is full…we’ve been trying since July! Emails have also been unanswered. Only buy this product if you do not need to contact the company directly

You should have contacted the company where you bought the item, not Kid Riffic (unless they sold it directly to you). JumpSmart trampoline is distributed by Diggin Active in the USA, and they are available at 888.388.8835.

I called the number listed above and needed a bungee cord, switch plate and green bottom because the frayed cord ripped the plastic grommets and had wonderful customer service. All needed parts are being mailed. I spoke with Nichole at Diggin Active

The bungee cord snapped on our trampoline. I received a replacement but lost the manual. Is there any way that you can email it to me or guide me to an online page where I can view it.
    Thank You.

They do not make the same parts since they recently bought out the copmpany. trampolines usa is the only place to get them and they are backordered 3 weeks as of today 8/9/2010

You may find the electronic version of the user’s manual in our FAQ page.

FYI, here is the link to User’s Manual again.

I am in Canada. The elastic bungee on mine broke as well. Any idea where to order one in Canada?

  8. Faith on October 23rd, 2010 3:48 pm

the bungee cord and one of the plastic grommets on the green bouncing surface broke on ours. The above number doesn’t work perhaps because I’m calling from Canada. where can we buy new parts from? your help is appreciated.

Woud you please let me know how to order a replacement bungee?

  10. Jay Mehra on October 31st, 2010 10:51 pm

The product shipped to me without the user manual. I came here to download the electronic copy and got directed to http://www.toddlertrampolines.org/docs/js-manual.pdf from the FAQ section. But I then get a “page not found” error. Can this please be fixed or can someone email the manual to me.

I have the same request…would you please let me know how much to replace the bungee cord and how to order it.

  12. Candace on November 7th, 2010 4:45 pm

My kids love this trampoline. After a year and a half, the elastic bungee broke. I’m trying to order the part right now.

  13. Candace on November 7th, 2010 4:46 pm

I also need a replacement bungee. I can’t find the phone number on the website.

  14. Matt on November 8th, 2010 6:46 am

Where can we get a bungee cord in Canada? I find it disturbing that so many people need replacements — shouldn’t there be a recall when the part has so many problems?

  15. Gavin McBain on November 20th, 2010 5:19 am

Can anyone tell me if there is a UK distributer or a place to buy one in the UK. IM desperately trying to get one for my disabled son after reading so many positive things from families with similar children.

  16. Laura on November 24th, 2010 6:06 pm

I bought this for my then 2 year old son last Christmas, he loves it and spends literally hours a day jumping on it. The first bungee broke in August and now the replacement piece has torn as well. I hate that this keeps happening but it is his favorite toy so I guess I will be ordering another bungee.

Hello, is there any way of getting 2 replacement foam handlebar covers for the triangle shaped trampoline? I live in Toronto, Canada. Thanks so much.

  18. beth on December 3rd, 2010 10:18 pm

We bought this today 12/3/10 for our son’s birthday and after 2 hours of assembling it is not working.
It doesn’t track despite trouble shooting, not sure what else to do. Please advise asap.

impossible to thread don’t buy this!

  20. Eileen Wolter on December 27th, 2010 1:18 pm

The cord is pulling through the triangular base on our KidActive model. How do we obtain a replacement?

  21. Ellen on December 29th, 2010 10:54 am

I bought a JumpSmart trampoline from Target online. On Christmas day, the electronics worked once and ever since just “quacks” when the power button is pushed. The kids love to jump on the trampoline. It seems sturdy. We are almost willing to do without the singing and counting. It does seem a shame that the music only works if you continuously hold down the button.

  22. Christina on December 29th, 2010 6:37 pm

our music box stopped working after 2 uses…i retuned it. i really do like the model and would purchase again if i knew that you improved the music box or i could get a new on frwee of charge if it went out agan.

  23. Willie Tucker on January 3rd, 2011 9:27 pm

Our 4 year old got this for Christmas and loves it! However, threading the cord is near to impossible! We still don’t have the pad centered. I think her outdoor trampoline with all of the springs was easier to assemble last year. Also the music plays but I think the trigger switch is defective because nothing happens when she jumps. I called the number above and the voicemail told me to call another number but the hours were from 8-4 only. Guess I’ll be calling back in the morning.

I left a comment on 12/27/10 which has not been responded to…..

If it’s under warranty, contact the manufacturer. You should be able to find the manufacturer if you contact the store where you bought the trampoline. KidActive model may not be produced by Diggin Active.

Hi, I purchased a Jump Smart Trampoline from Target.com. It was a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. My son-in-law realized, after he assembled it, that it’s missing what he described as the “music box”. Target customer service has not been very helpful and suggested I contact the manufacturer. Can you help me with this problem?

I am trying to find the caps that go on the legs. Ours wore through

  28. Dee on January 21st, 2011 9:00 am

Here is a site where you can find replacements pieces. I too am in need of a replacement bungee cord, and I am not happy at all about it. The weight limit is 80 pounds, and my oldest child is 55 pounds. This shouldn’t happen on one of the main components to a trampoline. The company that makes this product should be giving replacements bungee cords or ree, we should not have to but them. Without the bungee you have nothing~ This product is awesome until it breaks due to poor design!!!!!

  29. Richard on January 27th, 2011 8:52 pm

To get the bungee cord even all around the mat you can take some small rope pieces and tie the green matt in the middle of the frame. Use a rope on each hole to hold the green matt securely while threading the bungee cord. It may take restretching the cord two times to get it all the way around to connect together. My green matt had one side shorter than the other two so I put it to the back of the unit. Remove rope after you get it threaded. This method only takes about 5 minutes to get the bungee cord in place.

I need a replacement bungee cord too.

  33. Christie Chapin on February 22nd, 2011 12:12 pm

Thanks Tania for the manufacturer’s website! I just ordered my replacement bungee cords (I purchased two, assuming that the cord will snap again in about a year) and they charged me $44 USD including shipping to send it to Toronto. They should arrive sometime next week. Cheers!

  34. Chris Baczyk on February 26th, 2011 10:32 am

Didn’t even get it all the way put together and the batteries melted inside. Good thing we noticed before we gave it to our granddaughter and something bad happened!! Horrible product!!

  35. Janelle on March 7th, 2011 6:25 pm

The bungee cord snapped on our trampoline. I would to exchange this defective bungee. Who can I contact?

  36. Jump Smart on March 7th, 2011 8:02 pm

You may contact the merchant where you purchased the trampoline will be able to supply you with a replacement bungee. Depending on where you bought it, it may carry 3 months or 1 year replacement warranty.

I purchased the trampoline 2 or 3 years ago for my son and daughter. They love it and just recently the netting broke. I am looking to replace the netting, but the website says that they are out of stock. Please advise on where else I can look for the green netting. Thanks.

Very disappointed to see all the above families with bungee problems. We have only had our trampoline for 5 MONTHS and the bungee cord has already snapped. My oldest child is not even 60 pounds, so she is well below the 80 pound limit. Target has HORRIBLE customer service, so it is impossible to get any help from there. When purchasing an 80 dollar trampoline (over 100 with shipping costs), I would expect the product to be adequately made. I think it is ridiculous that I have to spend another 20 dollars to fix it within only 5 months of purchasing it!!!! Thank you to Tania Johnson above for giving us the replacement part information.

  39. Angela on July 17th, 2011 1:44 am

I LOVE this trampoline. My daughters have used it daily for over 2 years and use and abuse it. The bungee finally broke. After some searching I found http://www.trampolineusa.com/jusmtrbu.html.
There the bungee is just $14.95 in US with free shipping! Well worth it for our use.
    Hope this helps!

I just bought this trampoline from Target and got it shipped to my house. I was proud to have successfully built it despite somewhat confusing instructions…but when I went to test it today, the switch trigger doesn’t seem to be working. I’m disappointed because today is my daughter’s 3rd birthday and she loves jumping…but with the games not working, I’m not sure it will hold her interested. On the positive side, I called the number listed above (JumpSmart trampoline is distributed by Diggin Active in the USA, and they are available at 888.388.8835) and got a friendly representative on the line. She said my switch trigger might be defective and is immediately sending me a new one. She said that Diggin Active has recently made adjustments to the product to lower the defective rates on the bungy cords also, but that the older product is still being sold until it’s out of inventory. Look for the trampoline to have Diggin Active listed on the box…it should be the newer model.

  41. admin on December 23rd, 2011 3:19 pm

We are glad that you’re getting a replacement from Diggin Active. Switch Trigger and Bungee Cords are the two that may go wrong after extensive use.

  42. Gail on February 17th, 2012 5:47 pm

I just called: JumpSmart trampoline is distributed by Diggin Active in the USA, and they are available at 888.388.8835. They are sending out a new platform with a different type of bounce mechanism rather than a bungee cord. My twins both weigh less than 50 lbs and, we already replaced the bungee one time. Hopefully, this new system will work better. They are sending it for FREE. I wish I would have known about this before I paid $19.95 plus $5.65 for shipping.
